Writing for Expertscolumn
I had been a regular contributor to Expertscolumn, and had started to see a steady increase in my passive income with the site, so I was disappointed when they announced they would no longer be paying writers due to falling ad revenue. However, the site is scheduled to be back online in August or September “2013” – and admin have stated that writers will be able to earn more from their writing when the site returns from its brief hiatus.
It isn’t clear yet which way the site will go, or how it intends to help writers increase their revenues from their writing, but many writers will welcome the return of the site as it was one of the most reliable sites when it came to payment.
Under the old structure, writers used to get paid once they had made $5.00. This wasn’t easy with just a few articles on the site, but with a big enough bank of articles, I began to see a steady increase in my earnings. The site also introduced a paid to comment feature but it is uncertain if this feature will return when the site opens up again to writers.
Not Currently Accepting New Content
At the moment the site is not accepting new content, but it is worth checking back with the site from time to time to see when it begins accepting new articles again as Expertscolumn was great for people with little or no experience because the moderators were willing to work with writers to help them develop their skills – something that many similar sites aren’t willing to do.
Many of the writers made hundreds of dollars while they were active on the site and Expertscolumn proved itself to be genuine and quick with payments, so if you are looking to earn money as a writer, or just want to write as a hobby, the site is well worth contributing to when it makes its return.
Keep Copies Of Your Articles
I will just finish by adding a short note about contributing to writing sites. If you plan to dedicate large amounts of time to any of the revenue sharing sites, make sure you keep a copy of all of your articles. Any site can disappear and take your heard work with it. If you keep copies of your articles then they can be used on any of the other sites that accept previously published material, and your hard work won’t go to waste.
