Writing for Content Writing Sites
There are many mixed reviews on content writing sites, however, provided the guidelines of each site are adhered too, and the writer takes a few reasonable precautions, content writing sites can be well worth contributing to.
Content writing probably won’t make anyone rich, but for anyone starting out as a writer, these sites can provide a valuable training ground and could earn a writer an extra $20-$40 a day. There are many content sites out there that I could write about; however, I will write on the three I know the best: Hirewriters, Iwriter and Textbroker.
All writers start out as a beginner writer and then they can work their way up the expert writer level. Earnings start from $1.18, but these often only require just 150 words or more, so this shouldn’t take long, and the more a writer contributes, the quicker they will reach expert writer status where they can then starting to earn $8 or more an article.
As well as article writing, there is also rewriting work available. Before choosing a job, make sure you can complete the article within the specified deadline, check the percentages to see how many articles the employer has rejected, and make sure you read the guidelines carefully.
-Payments are made via PayPal once a writer has earned $10.
Contributors to IWriter start out with one star, which is the lowest paid level, but writers have the chance to work themselves up to the three star status. Article earnings start from $1.62 for writers at the standard level, but can rise to $48.00 for some articles in the the Elite level. As with Hirewriters, ensure that you check exactly what is required before starting work on an article and ensure that you can meet the deadline.
-Payments are made via PayPal once a seller has made $10.00.
Textbrokers pay out once a writer has earned 10 euros. Payments are made via PayPal and are made every Friday. To get started, a writer just needs to complete a sample article and complete an application form.
The kind of work offered varies from SEO to writing news, advice columns or blog posts, so there is something for everyone. The team will also offer feedback for your writing, which makes the site good for beginners.
You might be asked for a picture ID to confirm your details. If you don’t want to do this, explain that to them and they will contact you via phone to confirm your account.
